Option 2-Which looks bigger? Left or Right? Please comment using your gut instinct and initial perception of the dress which you perceive to be bigger

The second in the perception studies, once again your perceptions will be kept private. I shall post all comments after enough people have taken part and you can compare with others whether you see the same as them or not.
Thank You for taking part and please come back for more perception choices.

  1. Hi Lynsey, my gut instinct is the left dress is bigger, it looks like the hip area is wider, I feel the pattern on the left makes it look like the waist is being drawn in x

  2. One on the right may be percieved to be bigger as it's more fussy around the tummy area whereas the dress on the left's pattern draws our attention down and away from that area.....

  3. the left one looks bigger, more whitespace on the top part of the dress makes it appear wider.

  4. I think the right hand one looks bigger, I suppose because the detail is drawing you to the waist area?? Not sure, but this one looks bigger

  12. I think the left dress looks bigger in a weird kinda way. For the opposite reason from the first one, as I thought the longer lines of the first were slimming, in this one the longer lines make the dress on the left look bottom heavy. I feel it would be unflattering to wear. In option 1 I felt the dress on the right would be less flattering i.e. the opposite of this option. So in order of flatteringnessess left dress post 1, right dress post 2, left dress post 2.

  13. And another thing, if you pay more attention to the verticle lines it makes the right dress look bulgy in the middle, but if you zone out the verticle lines and look only at the vortex lines the right dress looks better (see comments of my first comment).
